Annually the District Board adopts a budget for the fiscal year, which runs from October 1st through September 30th. 

In accordance with Florida state requirements, the District conducts an independent audit. To access the audit reports, please visit the Florida Auditor General's website using the link below.  

To enhance transparency and accountability, the District adheres to the Special District Accountability Program by publishing an annual report, goals and objectives, and performance measures. The reports demonstrate our commitment to achieving these targets and continually improving our community services.

Palm Beach Soil and Water Conservation District is an Independent Special District, recognized as a 501(c)3 and a division of the State under Florida Statues 582. The District is a non-taxing, non-regulatory organization dedicated to carrying out a variety of conservation, environmental and educational programs.  

 

We service all of Palm Beach County as described in Section 7.50 of the Florida Statutes.

In accordance with Federal law, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, the District is prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, genetic information, political beliefs, reprisal or because all or part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance, retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted by the District.
