ACCOUNTABILITY
& TRANSPARENCY

The District supports transparency by following the Florida Special District Accountability Program and publishing annual reports, goals, objectives, and performance measures.

Established in January 1979, we are an independent, non-taxing, non-regulatory Special District under Florida Statutes 582, dedicated to conservation, environmental, and educational programs.

 

We service all of Palm Beach County as described in Section 7.50 of the Florida Statutes.

In accordance with Federal law, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, the District is prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, marital status, familial status, parental status, genetic information, political beliefs, reprisal or because all or part of an individual's income is derived from any public assistance, retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted by the District. 

The District is committed to ensuring that its website complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and all applicable State accessibility requirements. The District is dedicated to providing equitable access to information and services for individuals with disabilities.
